Tarped Again

It was very kind of Mother Nature to send us a rain storm this weekend. Real rain. Pete and Graham spent a couple hours last night building a tarp structure. We had a few leaks, but not too bad. Pete, my very determined husband, is spending the day sheathing the roof under the tarp. I doesn't look like very pleasant work.

  1. Uh-oh, what bad luck! The weather just didn’t seem to be cooperating with your construction. At least Pete and Graham acted fast and put up the tarp quickly. I do hope the rain didn’t do a lot of damage.

  2. Whew! I feel for you Heather. Our roof construction really slowed down this winter. Snow was very thick at some point and we had to cover the roof with two layers of tarpaulin cover.

  3. You’re lucky to have a very determined husband, Heather. I know it’s very inconvenient to work under the tarp, but I guess he continued working since he doesn’t want more leaks inside the house. I also had to work under the tarp before since the wind was blowing the tarp away and it’s hard to see the rain pouring in the kitchen. :)
