Our New Roof
We left for vacation for nearly a week, and even though it's August, we both felt weird about leaving without a roof on the garage. So, before we left, Pete bought huge tarp and secured it to the top of the addition. There was no rain while were gone, but today it looks like rain - maybe just a little. I'm glad the tarp is there.
Who knew I'd ever be glad to have a blue tarp roof. Now we're just missing the old tires to hold it on.

Well, it’s definitely a good thing that you decided to put up a tarp as a makeshift roof over your garage. You can’t leave your humble abode unprotected, after all! I do hope that your new roof was put soon after you came home. After all, the tarp is just a temporary solution.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for the tarp! I hope it didn’t actually rain or the construction materials would’ve been damaged because there was no roof to protect them yet. Was your roof put up as soon as you returned from vacation?
